Richard LeFeber
Rick has over thirty years of corporate board experience, with a focus on community and economic development. As Executive Director of the Cattaraugus Local Community Development Corporation (CLDC), Rick has established an all-volunteer community based 501 (C) 3 not-for-profit corporation. A few accomplishments of note include: jointly raising $400,000 for Business Development Corporation Revolving Loan Fund; raising approximately $4,000,000 in gifts, donations and grants for a rural Appalachian region; pioneering the creation of the 12-mile Pat McGee Trail, which involved 7 communities, 43 organizations and multiple government agencies; and brokering the opportunity to acquire ownership of 1,100-acre defunct real estate development which solved a 30 year homeowner issue in three months.
Rick is the recipient of President Bush’s “Points of Light” award #1906, Greenway & Community Innovation Award (NY State Parks and Trails), 4th Angel (Cleveland Clinic), and the Bronze Star (Vietnam). Rick has developed and maintains strong working relationships with many town and county governments and has also established associations and projects with Cornell University, SUNY at Fredonia, Alfred State College, Roger Tory Peterson Institute and University of Buffalo.
Kevin Sylvester
Kevin has over 20 years of board experience, with a focus on sports media consulting and childhood development. As member of the board for the First Tee of Western New York, Kevins mission was to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values. Kevin’s 20 years of experience in media, working for stations, professional sports teams, leagues, and national broadcast entities has provided him the opportunity to bring the community together in the interest of sports, broadcasting, and production. This experience includes being an announcer for NHL, NBA, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, NCAA Hockey, and The PGA Tour. Kevin also served as the producer for the Buffalo Sabres post-game show, executive producer for a Sabres radio show, and started his own media production company, All Square Media LLC in 2008. All Square Media serves as the executive producer of the Tee 2 Green TV and Radio shows (also created by Kevin), and handles distribution, sponsorship sales, fulfillment, and production of the shows.
Kevin served as the Director of Amateur Athletics for WNY Arena LLC (Key Bank Center in Buffalo), procuring major amateur sporting events for Buffalo, NY. The major highlights include two sold out NCAA Tournaments First and Second Rounds (2007, 2010), and the 2011 IIHF U20 World Championships (Kevin co-wrote the winning bid, and served on the organizing committee for USA Hockey). Kevin created The Duster Challenge in 2016, a local 18 hole putting competition, and serves as an advisor to WNY golf ball company, OnCore Golf.
